Recently, I Was Asked What Sign Am I?
 How Would You Respond???? 

I truly do appreciate my job with the airlines.  I love meeting an array of people from various professions, cultures and countries.  It's amazing how strangers ask some of the strangest and most personal questions.  I don't respond to most, but there is one I eagerly always answer, why am I so kind to them????  You might ask why wouldn't I be kind? Well, with irate passengers screaming about flight delays and cancellations because of the recent erratic weather patterns, it would seem only natural for me to retaliate to such bad behavior in a mean manner. Especially being blamed for something I have no control over.  Yes, it an interesting experience seeing how people respond to the various wrenches thrown in their travel during the course of a day, including mine. But by God's grace I've matured over the years to be thankful for many delays... God's knows what is ahead of us...protecting us from unseen dangers.  Yes He alone holds our future in His hands.  So I've resolved not to be anxious nor complain about matters out of my control and I don’t criticize those who do murmur and can’t see the rainbow.  I can't brag or take the credit for being calm, because I have someOne living in my heart to help me push forward in His joy.  Yep, you got it!  King, Lord Jesus Christ lives large in my heart.  In fact, being a servant of God (Jesus Christ follower), people usually inquire why I appear so happy… or they can see a glow about me.  Of course, I state it’s the Love of God, Pure Agape, Jesus living large in me… with a large smile.  I always aspire to be ready to give an on time word for the hope within me… Christ Jesus.  Because It Is Only Through Christ I'm Victorious!

   

   In fact, recently I had a great conversation on the plane with two ladies on my flight, giving them something to think about and chew on.    This flight was no different than most, except people were a little anxious about potential delays into Boston due to the stormy weather front.   As stated earlier, two ladies struck up a conversation with me and wanted to know how and why I stay so jovial, while everyone else was acting angry.  Before I could utter a word, they said they knew why and I must be xxxx astrological sign … and proceeded to ask what was my sign?  I replied none I don't  participate in astrology. Then they proceeded to call out more astrological signs.  I just said, "No, my sign is the Cross."

They responded, “The cross????”

   "Yep, all that you see and anything about who I am is all wrapped up in the Cross.  I am a follower of Christ Jesus, therefore, anything negative that I could be was nailed on that tree with Christ when He was crucified.  But the Good News Is God The Son Christ Jesus is No Longer Hanging On That Cross, But is Risen And Seating At the Right Hand Of God the Father,” I smiled. 

  "Oh yeah" they replied and smile . "We're Christians too!"

   "Really?" I continued.  “Well, when I became a Christian 29 years ago, I learned that something that appeared as innocent as astrology was a practice forbidden by a Holy God. Yes, ladies I divorced myself of astrology as soon as I discovered it was not of God.  I realize it was a very big thing in the 70’s to know your sign and apparently it still is. But being an unbeliever at the time I had no clue. Then when I became a Christian I learned I only needed to know and accepted Jesus and Him Crucified into my heart and allow Him to be in charge of my future.  And it has been a wonderful and challenging future I laughed.  And I discovered my spoiled, selfish and did I state mean self was given the ability through Christ Jesus to become all the good God has called me to be… there is no negative... Okay there is less than before, because I am still a work in progress.  Thank God for His patience because He is still working some quirks out of my personality.  Yep, nothing but the Holy Ghost is good in me.  However, in the astrological signs there are positive and negative”

.  Then they once again proclaimed to tell me they were Christians too.  So you, who call yourselves Christians what would have done if you found another Christian practicing astrology?  I do realize many (who consider themselves Christians) are doing such practices out of ignorance.  Followers Christ Jesus Can Not Also Dance With The Devil.  Either Choose Gods Ways And Precepts Or Choose satan and his ways.  Oil and Water cannot mix.  Which is why it states in the Holy Bible, the Word of God:

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”~ Hosea 4:6 

    So because they admitted to being Christian, I had to do as the Holy Spirit lead me to do.  They were not on my flight by accident.  God wanted them to know, so they will be without excuse if they did not repent and turn from such practice.  Oh, some might walk away and say it just a harmless practice, but it is not.  God hates it and I love them enough to tell them the truth, and might I suggest you do the same to a fellow believer… well as the Spirit of Truth leads.  But I do tell believers because I want them to win the race… and to have faith in God… Christ Jesus and not the foolish practice of this world system. 

Besides, astrology is just as much part of the occult as witchcraft, fortunetelling, magic, sorcery (drugs and spells) and every evil thing that comes from the pit of hell.  So I shared these scriptures.  God hates idolatry and witchcraft… the world and movies glamorize it… but, it will lead all to the path of destruction.

So here is the truth, scripture to expose what God hates:

“Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem”~2Chron_36:14 

 “These nations you are forcing out listen to fortunetellers and to those who practice black magic. But the LORD your God won't let you do anything like that”~. Deut_18:14 

Mic_5:12  I will destroy your sorcerers, and you will have no more fortunetellers.

Zec_10:2  The idols speak lies. The fortunetellers see false visions. They speak about false dreams. They give useless comfort. That is why people wander around like sheep. They are troubled because there is no shepherd.

 So I in love and in humility encourage Christians to stop mixing the pollution of the world with their relationship with a Holy God through Christ Jesus.  Either we trust God…Christ Jesus and follow Him or not.  We canNOT walk with God and satan at the same time.  Evil practices must be removed from a follower of Christ Jesus life so God can bless them.   

Again, don’t take satan’s counterfeit bribes over God’s divine overflowing blessings… God’s gifts adds no sorrow.  Satan deceives and uses you for a season and will always destroy you in the end.  Trust God for your future, God is truly working things out.  WE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN ASTROLOGY.  JESUS CHRIST IS ALL THE HOPE WE NEED FOR TOMORROW.  HE IS AUTHORING AND FINISHING YOUR FAITH FOR A BRIGHTER TOMORROW MOMENT BY MOMENT.  HE IS NEVER LATE WITH THE ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS AND CRY.  TRUST HIM THE LORD!

NEVER GIVE IN TO WICKED DEVICES… PRACTICES. (Never go to a witch, soothsayer, and fortuneteller.   Their father, Satan is a liar.  And don’t fear anyone who works evil, God will destroy their works and allow them to be destroyed if they don’t repent. No evil will come near your dwelling or you.  Stop fearing people and their evil devices. Make sure you do not do such either, for if you are doing such evil practices, then how you can be a Christ Follower and that includes astrology.  The Lord has our days in His hands and trust Him and ask Him to teach and lead you in His will. 

*Don’t fear satan, nor the people who serve him working evil (and as follower of Christ should never be involved in any evil…God will not be mocked).  Remember, those who sow evil will reap it and in a whirlwind shall they reap it.

Here are two examples written about God’s protection over those who belong to Him and walk in His will.  Then the second verses will show God’s judgment over a nation that practice witchcraft and came against the children of God, thinking no one knew what they were doing:

“And God said unto Balaam, Thou shalt not go with them; thou shalt not curse the people: for they are blessed.”~ Numbers_22:12 

Num 23:16  The LORD came to Balaam and told him, "Go back to Balak, and give him my message."

Num 23:17  He came to Balak and found him standing beside his burnt offering with the princes of Moab. Balak asked him, "What did the LORD say?"

Num 23:18  Then Balaam delivered this message: "Stand up, Balak, and listen! Hear me, son of Zippor!

Num 23:19  God is not like people. He tells no lies. He is not like humans. He doesn't change his mind. When he says something, he does it. When he makes a promise, he keeps it.

Num 23:20  I have received a command to bless. He has blessed, and I can't change it.

Num 23:21  He doesn't want any trouble for the descendants of Jacob. He sees no misfortune for the people of Israel. The LORD their God is with them, praised as their king.

Num 23:22  The God who brought them out of Egypt has the strength of a wild bull.

Num 23:23  No spell can curse the descendants of Jacob. No magic can harm the people of Israel. Now it will be said of Jacob and Israel: 'See what God has done!'

Num 23:24  Here is a nation that attacks like a lioness and is as ferocious as a lion. It doesn't lie down until it eats its prey and drinks the blood of its victim."

Num 23:25  Balak said to Balaam, "If you won't curse them, then at least don't bless them!"

Num 23:26  Balaam answered, "Didn't I tell you that I must do whatever the LORD says?")

These are the second verses will show God’s judgment over a nation that practice witchcraft and came against the children of God, thinking no one knew what they were doing:

Isa 47:10  "You felt sure of yourself in  evil; you thought that no one could see you. Your wisdom and knowledge led you astray, and you said to yourself, 'I am God--- there is no one else like me.'

Isa 47:11  Disaster will come upon you, and none of your magic can stop it. Ruin will come on you suddenly--- ruin you never dreamed of !

Isa 47:12  Keep all your magic spells and charms; you have used them since you were young. Perhaps they will be of some help to you; perhaps you can frighten your enemies.

Isa_47:13  Thou art wearied in the multitude of thy counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee.

Isa 47:13  You are powerless in spite of the advice you get. Let your astrologers come forward and save you--- those people who study the stars, who map out the zones of the heavens and tell you from month to month what is going to happen to you.

Isa 47:14  "They will be like bits of straw, and a fire will burn them up! They will not even be able to save themselves--- the flames will be too hot for them, not a cozy fire to warm themselves by.

Isa 47:15  That is all the good they will do you--- those astrologers you've consulted all your life. They all will leave you and go their own way, and none will be left to save you."

Now if you were one of the Christians who were ignorant of such practices as being evil and not of God,  then take a moment now and confess such sin to God through Christ Jesus and renounce the practices of the occult and witchcraft.  Command In the Name of Jesus that the doors of witchcraft be closed to your life. And confess that greater is the Holy Spirit in you, that you are a new person through Christ Jesus.  That you are cleansed by the Blood of Christ Jesus… you are cleansed by the Word.  Believe that Jesus paid for all sin and that the sin of witchcraft the occult is nailed to the cross.  JESUS HAS OVERCOME ALL EVIL. Believe you are free to walk in obedience and  God’s Holiness through Christ Jesus …by the power of the Holy Spirit which dwells in you.  If you are not a Christian, but want to  be delivered out of darkness and come into light.  Here is a simple prayer for salvation:

Dear God of Heaven…You are Holy… and You are God,

I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ.

 I acknowledge to You that I have sinned against a Holy God, yes I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess the Lord our God and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved.

Thank you Jesus Christ for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself.

Thank you Jesus Christ for dying for me and giving me eternal life.
Amen.

CONGRATULATIONS AND KNOW THE LORD AS GIVEN YOU A HELPER (THE HOLY SPIRIT)TO ENABLE YOU TO EMPOWER YOU TO WORK OUT THE SALVATION THAT IS DEPOSITED INTO YOU TO FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT OF FAITH.  IT IS NOT IN YOUR STRENGTH THAT YOU BE ABLE TO WALK IN VICTORY THE BATTLE AHEAD, IT IS ONLY BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT WHICH NOW LIVES IN YOU.  READ THE HOLY BIBLE… SCRIPTURES. JOIN A BIBLE BELIEVING TEACHING CHURCH…TEACHING THE WHOLE GOSPEL, DIVIDING THE WORD CORRECTLY.  YOU WILL KNOW GOD’S CHURCH BY HIS CHILDREN… JESUS CHRIST FOLLOWERS…. LOVE TOWARDS ONE ANOTHER.  REMEMBER, THERE IS NO PERFECT CHURCH… ONLY A PERFECT CHRIST JESUS.  THE BODY OF CHRIST JESUS (ALL OF HIS FOLLOWERS) ARE A WORK IN PROGRESS, EVERYONE IS STILL GROWING INTO HIS LIKENESS. SO WHEN YOU ARRIVE BE PATIENT AND PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER.  AND GROW IN LOVE ONE TO TOWARDS ANOTHER.  ANYWAY, I AM TOTALLY EXCITED FOR YOU.  YOU WILL SEE HOW WONDERFUL AND FREE IT IS TO FOLLOW CHRIST AND NO SORROW.  JUST REALIZE Satan IS MAD AND WILL TRY TO DECEIVE YOU AND DRAW BACK INTO DARKNESS.  BUT STAND.  IT IS A BATTLE AND HE WILL TRY TO DECEIVE YOU IN THINKING GOD IS NOT FOR YOU AND EVEN TRY TO BRING HAVOC INTO YOUR LIFE.  BUT STAND AND LEARN GOD’S WORD SO YOU CAN FIGHT USING THE SAME WORDS JESUS SPOKE AND WROTE.  YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS WORLD…THIS BATTLE TO LIVE LIFE ABUNDANTLY.  IT IS NOT A ROSE GARDEN WITHOUT THORNS, BUT HE WILL HELP YOU TO ENDURE AND REMOVE THEM…ONE BY ONE.  HE WILL TEACH YOU TO DEPEND AND TRUST IN HIM AND NOT THE WORLDS EVIL METHODS.  AGAIN TRUST HIM.  THIS IS WHY GOD THE FATHER GAVE YOU THE HOLY SPIRIT VIA YOUR FAITH THROUGH CHRIST JESUS TO TEACH YOU ALL THINGS THROUGH GOD’S HOLY SCRIPTURES…. HIS INSTRUCTION BOOK SO YOU CAN APPLY IT AND LIVE LIFE VICTORIOUSLY AND WIN!!!!
